Both hands need to be done, but she is doing one at a time. She will be without the use of her hand for abour 4 weeks. After the stitches come out they will put her in a cast to keep the thumb immoble. Doesn't it sound like fun?
It's a good thing that Patty doesn't like coffee. It's hard to type and drink coffee with TWO hands, I can't imagine trying to do all of that with one.
