My mom did the same thing 3 years ago on the ice, only instead of just dislocating her ankle, the dislocation was so severe it caused both of her longbones in her lower leg to snap as well. She needed surgery to repair them and a bar placed in her leg. Just from slipping on the ice! It's terrible!
As far as the pregnancy goes, I fell down the stairs on my bottom during 2 of my pregnancies. One time it was a full flight, the other time a half flight. Both times I was carrying laundry . Anyway, I hurt my back and back side more than anything else. Babies were ok.
Update soon and let us know how everything is! My mom swears that the dislocation is far more painful than the breaks were! She said it was so excrusiating all the way up to her knee. She said that once they put it back into place, it took away 90% of the pain! The breaks were nothing compared to that!
