Also if anyone knows of a groomer I would appreciate it. I had considered Petsmart until I was there one day and a dog was traumatized and they took him to the back and I"m sure sedated him. He was so loopy 5 min later. And as I watched I come to realize they are groomers in training. I would like Broden to go to a seasoned professional.
Oh yeah we live in Lexington
Anyhoot thanks from me and Broden for any response. |
I use to go a place next door to my Vet here in Louisville. They did a good job but couldn't get his nails smooth. I was concerned for my Yorkie tearing up my hardwood floors that I had recently been refinished. I found out that Petsmart has a special tool that smooths out their nails and I have been going there since. I have had a good experience each and every time. My Yorkie is a bit scared only because he knows I am leaving him, but once they take him and work with him he calms down they tell me. Then when I get back, he bouncing back to me in my arms. They don't use tranquilizers on him and perhaps they have to for certain situations. I don't know, but for their safety they probably have rules to follow. Check out Petsmart and ask questions of your concern, or check your phone book and call around. Good Luck~!
