Yes, most of the movie is really funny and cute - really makes you laugh...and I just love the "husband" and "father" role that Owen Wilson played - loved him in this movie.
You're right though...losing our babies is part of it - it's a part of life - but man...it is SO, SO incredibly hard...I would rather be run over by a truck - for me it would be less painful than having one of my babies taken away from me
