Ella can stay with me as long as she needs to. YTNR told me when I took her that dogs over 12 dont usually get adopted so I planned on her staying for a while. She will be on the website soon for adoption but I will be very picky about any applicants. It would have to be the PERFECT home for her. Im probably not the best foster mom because I want to keep all of them. I get very attached. Ella is only my 4th. I adopted my 1st (Sam) so Ive only had one leave I cried for days and he went to a great home with a perfect mom who I still keep in touch with. Ella has become pretty attached me and my husband. Sometimes she gets scared and screams all we have to do is put our hand near her nose she smells us and she calms down. We have been able to build trust much faster with her than the other abused dogs. Which is weird because she is the oldest and by far the most abused. Maybe because she has to rely on us more. She wants to be near us constantly. We'll see how things go, Ella is very happy and I guess to answer your question. I have no idea Im just taking one day at a time.
