It could be the start of an ear infection as well, sometimes when debris starts to build up they will scratch and paw at the ear. When the infection starts to develop they will usually shake their heads.

If you have some ear wash, I would do a cleaning on her and see if it helps at all. Maybe every other day or every 2 days until you get to the vet.
