We (husbands idea
) adopted a papillon (Scout) back in Oct., he was about 14 wks and 2.9lbs. Now at 6 months he is just under 6lbs and I don't expect him to get much bigger.
My yorkies are 3.5 and 5lbs, they are not known for accepting other dogs. With most of the foster dogs I take in, Ruby and Reno won't have much to do with them. Scout has been different though, they accepted him almost from day one.
Scout is the happiest dog I've ever been around, he is also VERY smart. He gets along with all of the foster dogs, plays with them but never too rough.
Ruby never shares a bed with any of the new kids, but she does with Scout.
