Roscoe is a frequent cookie tosser! The yellow stuff, old hat for us. He gets what we call alien belly. Sounds like an alien is trying to get out. We have well water in our house as opposed to city sewage. We have started giving the dogs bottled water. We found that the well water could contain contaminents that wont clean thru the normal filtering process and when there is snow and you treat the driveways, or when its spring or fall and you fertilize, small amounts, enough to hurt the dog were in our water source.
Beyond that, once it happens, we keep saltines in the house. If we can get him to take some of the cracker and keep it down, just a tiny corner, then we try again in an hour and within a couple of hours we can get the whole cracker down. Once his tummy takes that he will start eating again and the yellow stuff goes away. |
