Was this a new vet tech? I do not think it was professional to you. You did not ask her opnion of the Yorkie Breed , and she was out and out rude . You can request that she not be the vet tech for your Yorkie or other animals in the near future. Especially if you like your vet and the rest of the other staff. i have requested a certain vet to look after my Suzi every time we go to a visit. I'd do the same for a tech If someone was rude and unprofessional.
