Hi,

I just read your post about your yorkie throwing up yellow foam...as I said in a couple of my previous posts, Moose has done this several times too. I have taken him to the vet every single time except for this last time (turns out he had eaten a tag and was fine after he expelled it)...my vet says that the yellow foamy throwup could be a result of changing food, traveling in car, stress or anxiety, or an empty stomach (if its been a while since she has eaten). So, it could be a number of things...is she also having diarrhea? Is she still eating and drinking? If she isn't acting herself and not eating or drinking along with the throwup, its probably best to at least call the vet. With Moose, since he is only 3lbs, I usually always take him just in case, which leads to very expensive vet bills but peace of mind for me.

If she's acting lethargic, and not eating/drinking, or has diarrhea too (especially if she has diarrhea), I would call the vet and ask for advice and probably take her in. I've done this so many times with Moose and he has been fine, but I'd never forgive myself if I hadn't taken him and it had been life threatening. Hope this helps a little!
