Yeah I was desperately hoping one of my friends would see it who is actually a plumber and out of work at the minute. He did see it but not till after I had it sorted out.

Thankfully nothing of mine was damnaged that either can't be cheaply replaced or ran through the wash. I've had the carpet cleaner on the carpet and sucked up alot of the water but it's still pretty wet.
That's awful their house blew up... I feel even luckier now!
