Hello and CONGRATS and WELCOME !!!

Since she is very young (most breeders will not release their pups until 12 weeks old), I would absolutely free feed her kibble. She will likely eat just to instinct at this age. At this age, she is also still vulnerable to hypoglycemia (which yorkies are prone to) - so it is very important that she has enough food (and often enough) to keep her blood sugar normal.

I used to feed kibble (I then moved to homecooking, and now raw) - and I free-fed ALL of my cats and dogs their whole lives and never had an issue w/ an overeater. They just self regulated.
