The 2 oz baby boy survived 10 days, but then passed away....the vet said his body was not absorbing any nutrients because his digestive system was too immature. That was the hardest thing for me....after bottle feeding him for 10 days. After the 2nd litter I had her spayed...her pups were just too tiny. I didn't want to go through that again! Her sister Rosie is expecting her 1st litter and I hope that her pups are larger!

I am so happy to hear that you have a little boy! How is the little guy and his mama doing? Is this her 1st litter?
This was her first litter. She was 5 pounds and gained up to 6 1/2. The little guy weighs 2.5 ounces. He started latching on tonight all by himself. I am still worried because he hasn't started gaining. His belly looks full after nursing. She only breed one time and she had them on day 60 but he still looks a little premature. I think it is because she was to young.
