That's a myth
It is perfectly fine to feed both kibble and raw together. That said, I prefer raw. My boys LOVE it and are thriving on it. I have never fed or researched TOTW or NV kibble, but am pretty sure they are comparable.
Make sure if you go with the raw that the medallions are completely thawed, and you mash it up into tiny bits. Some of them will eat it soooo fast and that can cause tummy problems.
