Just a few suggestions. Get a crate or an ex-pen. Pee pads are a must. They're available in disposable or washable. Your baby always needs to put in the crate/pen when you can't watch him like a hawk. I didn't trust my boys away from my side until they were past 1 yr. old. My girls are 10 and 11 yrs. old and I still put them in ex-pens when I leave. My Pommie is always in an ex-pen when I'm gone for his own safety. He tends to destroy the house in anxiety.

You also need to get some sort of enzyme cleaner such as Nature's Miracle so clean up the potty/poo so that your baby doesn't go back to the same place. Remember he is very, very young and it takes awhile. Just lately there was a thread about the time it take to train. The majority of posters said that it took months. The general run is that the puppy can hold its pee one hour for every month he/she is old. I set a kitchen alarm during the night so that I would get up and take my babies out. Good luck with training. ~Joanne~
