Hi, congratulations on getting a new pup. I think the best advice I got was to learn to do the "Yorkie Shuffle". That's where you don't lift your feet off the ground for the first year.
These little guys love to stay by your feet, and otherwise it's so easy to step on them. Be patient with potty training they will make mistakes, and have plenty of Nature's Miracle on hand to clean mistakes, otherwise they will be attracted to the same place to go again.
