I don't think the NB has a high enough fat (10%) or protein (20%) for small breed puppies. I would use it for a large breed pup, but not a yorkie.
I really love the nutrition of Innova puppy food. It has something like 28% protein and 16% fat. It has wondeful ingredients with turkey, chicken and chicken meal as the 1st 3 ingredients.
