I just realized that I never posted to say what the vet report was.  
 
Uh, oh...he's a chunky monkey! lol  They said he should have a little divet at his waist (as you all explained to me) and nope, nada, not there. 

  They didn't say how much he should lose though, so we'll try to drop a pound or so and get him checked again.  I stopped worrying about it while he had his staph infection (bad groomer) and was on steroids and antibiotics, but now he's up to 9.75lbs. 
 
So, I'm going to separate him from Kandi at meal times and cut his portion size some, add some green beans and see what he thinks.  I'll also cut his treats in half.  He is exercising more now that he can run around and play with Kandi, so hopefully that will help.
