What does this mean...the longer they will hold their color?? I thought once a Yorkie's coat changed, it stayed that color pretty much from then on....though I've heard of some Yorkies who have gone through several changes by the time they are 2 or 3 even. But still, I've seen lots of older Yorkies that still have that blue/tan Yorkie coloring.

I have heard, don't know if it's true though, that the smaller ones tend to change colors quicker than the larger ones. Bella is 4 lbs., so that would seem to hold true for her, though my aunt's Yorkie is 5 mo. old today and is barely over 2 lbs., and she has just started changing colors on her face only and nowhere else. Sooooo.....maybe it's just each one changes at his/her own pace no matter the size??? (When I first got Bella, I was so intrigued with this color changing business, and I was so anxious to see what she'd end up looking like. Then, I'd had a picture of what I wanted her to look like in my head, but strangely, my picture has changed over time, and I've realized that it doesn't matter what she changes to, she will always be beautiful to me!)
