It was just as if anyone she owed to was just out of luck. I've heard from a reliable source that she has done things in the past few months that were not necessities, and if she had foregone one or more of those things, she could have easily paid people back or gotten her machine out of the repair shop.
I also sew for people and can think of one time when my world came crashing down around me. I had many orders to complete and couldn't do them at that time. I immediately sent refunds to everyone who had already paid and even paid extra to cover the paypal fee. A couple of YT'ers here offered to sew the things I couldn't...and they did...but I would have never expected that I keep the money and they complete my orders.
As far as her unfulfilled orders, she has advertised on other sites and her site is open to the public, so it very likely goes beyond YT and it's not likely we could reach those people. I don't think it's up to us to make this all right. This is something she did through mismanagement of money and what should have been a priority in filling orders. When I sewed a vest for one of her unfulfilled orders, I didn't do it for Missy. I did it for the person who had not received what they paid for, because I feel sorry for those people. It is just not right.
And...Missy being logged on to her my space account on 12-28 shows she does find access to the net, and I'd be willing to bet she has been on here as a guest which wouldn't show her being logged on. | |
