I went to look at Toby on Monday when DH agreed I could. On Tues.I went to the pet store and bought a bed, Leash, etc. We were set to go on Wed. and pick him up.
When dh came home from work He had a bit of an attitude change and wasn't sure we should get Toby. He was annoyed that I had gone to look at him myself, and was feeling that I was making the decision instead of We. Of course I didn't think it was fair that he was now changing his mind after he had said yes. We talked it out, and went to get him that night.
Driving home with this little shaking pup softend his heart. After a week or so whenever I referred to Toby as my dog, I was corrected that he was our dog. Two months later Toby's tale wags more for dh than for me! |
