For now my dogs are both on Wilderness Blue buffalo dry kibble . I have been searching other foods , but for now they seem to like it well enough.
My question is ....I heard that dogs need to drink more water when eating a high protein
dry kibble...Is that true? I never really thought about her not having enough. I just figured she has it there so I guess she gets enough. But now I'm starting to wonder about it.
I do see her drink but it's just a little here and there it seems. I give her an ice cube to play with so she can get more water when I notice her pee smells stronger , but never really thought about her not having enough long term...
Should I give a little wet food in the mornings or even just water down the kibble bit ?
