Chloe wears pj's for bed and she wears clothes and a coat when we go out anywhere. During the day around the house it's about 50/50 , Sometimes yes sometimes no . I dress her but sometimes she gets out of it
So I let her have that day off. I don't really worry much about her getting cold during the day...she sleeps and plays right next to our 24/7 fire
I brush her everyday and I don't have a problem with matting except sometimes under her arms , but I carefully brush it out .
