I can't get Tallulah to POOP in the right place! We have had Tallulah now for about two weeks and she has only pooped on her pad one time. The rest of the times she poops everywhere else. We have been leashing her to us so that she cannot wander off and poop/pee in the house but now it's to the point that she will just poop right in front of us, then I try to run and hurry and put her in on her pad, but she will never finish up on the pad, she will just hold it in. One time she even pooped in the car when we were running errands. I did notice she does not like to poop where she pees so we put one pad down in the the bathroom and another in the storage room next door, there is about 10 ft between the two (and a wall of course because they are in separate rooms). Is that too far- not far enough? She always wants to poop in my sons room which is on the other side of the house, but all our bedrooms are over there and I don't want her pooping in our bedrooms.
Also, she isn't eating on the schedule her former owner said she is on. She was fed at 10am and 5pm now she is eating around 5pm and 10pm. I set her food out at 10am and she won't eat it so I keep offering it to her and setting it back out every hour or so. She won't take it until 4 or 5pm! Then she wants to eat again around 10pm because she is hungry. I give her about 1/3 c each time. That's what I was told she eats 2x a day. Is that too much?
I am starting to worry about her. What am I doing wrong?
