That is not altogether accurate either. There are different lines of Bioewers, as there are of the parti colored yorkies. At least one of these lin=s has done NA testing and it has shown that they are not purebred yorkshire terrier. some lines of biewer do not have the gold in the face, it remains black nd white.

My parti colored yorki9es came from the line that did the extensive DNA testing for the AKC. I am sure that there are lines out there that would not pass this test and they are just riding on the reputation of those who have passed.

Likewise there re many REGISTERED traditional colored yorkshire terriers that wsould not pass that test either.

As stated before a puppy, of any breed or color, is only as good as it's breeder.
As far as I'm concerned, a biewer and a parti are NOT the same. The biewer is now considered a breed of their own
