I doubt it is shingles at her age. While the chicken pox virus does lie dormant in the body for the rest of your life and does reappear as shingles, it generally does not affect young, otherwise healthy kids. It mostly affects immune compromised and the elderly. I would bet this is a cyst of some sort, and would put hot compresses on it about every 1-2 hours today and triple ABT oint. If fever, and increased redness, drainage, or severe pain, take her to ER. Otherwise if it does not change, and no other symptoms, I would follow up with your regular doctor when the office is open.
