I always brush from the bottom up, as a child i had a extremely long hair so i know how it hurts!!! I only use my slicker brush to get rid of mats that i can;t work with my fingers or with the comb, it pulls too much hair and breaks it (at least with Mojo's hair). THANK GOD Mojo's coat is really easy to manage and doesn't tangle a lot..
