Your puppy is probably teething and likes the way the drawstring feels. Most yorkies have to have a few baby teeth removed at some point in their first year, so it is likely there is something going on there. I would just suggest getting your pup lots of different things to chew on, like ropes and fleece toys, rawhide and nylabones (I've heard lots of negative info on these two but I supervise my pup's chewing to make sure he isn't digesting any little pieces), or squeaky toys. One of my dogs is an extreme chewer, and loves to tear things apart, and he's over 3.5 yrs old! Just don't leave your pajamas around, and replace them with lots of approved things to chew! |
