I'm wondering if she might have a food allergy. Even if you haven't changed foods, the food manufacturer might have changed their ingrediance. That is what happened with Pebbles, she was find and all of a sudden she started to scratch like crazy. Found out they changed the recipe so I changed food and now she is fine. Also, if you are giving a new treat that might be an issue with allergics as well.
