Just curious I have read that these yorkies do not meet AKC standard and therefore cannot be registered, but I have seen websites professing to register these dogs.

Also I have also read that these dogs have genetic defects and should not be breed because of future health and skin problems. For owners of golden or parti's how old are your yorkies, and have you had any skin or health problems? What are the websites for where you got your dog?

I personally think these are cute dogs and offer a variety on the breed but have hesitated to acquire one because they seem to get negative press. Tell me about your yorkies, I am considering getting a 3rd yorkie in the future and for a variety would like a parti.
