Dennis can hear a anything a couple of houses away, like the mailman or another dog, even with all the noise going on. He is an excellent watch dog, even at 2 pounds 3 ounces!
One night he woke me at 2 AM and I was trying to quiet him down so I could get back to sleep when 2 minutes later the door bell rang. I now trust he knows better than me and I investigate.
