 when to neuter?
I have a little male, he's about 4 months old, his birthday was August 22.
Anyway, i have no intentions of breeding and i do want to get him fixed for obvious health reasons.
I have got such conflicting opinions about when to do it.
The vet says ASAP, because after 6 months he can reach puberty at any time and may become more aggressive. To be honest hes got such a great disposition i hate to think it may change so that makes me nervous.
I have read that some say 6 months, some 8, some say 2 years!
He does seem very small now for any sort of surgery, only about 4 pounds.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
