I have always heard that it is better to separate out the heartworm preventative and flea treatment in these toy breed dogs because they are more apt to have a reaction.
Interceptor and Frontline have the fewest reactions as Crystal said. That's what I use. I always make sure to wait two weeks in between treatments. I do one on the 1st of the month, the other on the 15th to be safe. |
