Both of mine are black and gold. They have a little silver, but not alot. my female She-ra has a short course coat, and my male Harley has a silky longer coat. So I am blessed with both!!! She-ra's sister is blue and gold, so I am hoping she will throw both colors!! Personally, I love the dark coat! All I have ever seen in the show ring is that long flowing coat that is so gorgeous, but I am thankful that mine have shorter coats b/c they LOVE to roll in fresh cut grass!!! Sorry I don't have an professional input for you!!!
