Hi,and a Happy New Year to you all UK (when its here) and USA (if its already there!)
I have never seen any questions regarding the Stud Dogs, so i was wanting
other Breeders opinions on something.
I have a 3 year (Nov 23 08)old Yorkie Stud 'Buddy'. Fantastic dog in looks and temperment, also he throws mainly Girls in his litters of between 5-7. He is very fit, agile, healthy. Well looked after, with his 2 x daily walks and his groomer visits every 3 months!
When do the stud dogs litter start reducing? At wat age does his fertility start to drop?
He mated 8 bitches over the last year, and i was wanting to know do you think that this is too many times?
