Thanks for all of your replies. Lola has always been the sweetest, happiest dog. She is so tiny and fragile - this came on so unexpected. I guess we will just try to get through the next 10 days and reschedule her spay for a week or so after...and then worry to death about that! It is always something to worry about with these babies. I am just glad to know that I will get my old Lola back.
