Maggie was the same way. The aggression calmed down 3/4 of the way through her heat but I didn't see a real difference until after her spay. Before the surgery, she was sleepy all the time and not playful. Now she is the happiest I have ever seen her! She runs and plays with other dogs at the dog park (something she NEVER did) and her and Franklin wrestle and play every single day. It's been an incredible change. Good luck!
