My Baron was 1 in Nov. I've had him for 6 months. He goes in the crate no matter what size it is. I use Nature's Miracle by the gallon and wash his fleecie blankets daily. During the day I take him out with my 7 y.o. Papillion and he'll do both outside. I bring him in and I have pee-pads down, But, he'll go on the floor anyway.He's in a crate @ night as soon as I hear him scratching @ the crate and whimpering I run him out!! He was checked for bladder issues and he's fine. I think he enjoys sloshing around in urine and other things... Hopefully, someday he'll get it!! If not, oh well I'll buy stock in Nature's Miracle. He wears a manly belly band too!! Oh, I LOVE him soo much...
