[News] Yorkshire terrier stolen from pet shop Braintree - Police are investigating the theft of a Yorkshire terrier, valued at $800, from Debbie’s Pet Land at the South Shore Plaza, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins told the Forum.
The terrier is described as black and tan with medium length hair.
On the evening of Dec. 26, an employee told police that she allowed a man to take the dog into the play area so he could get familiar with it.
“A customer later informed the employee that the man walked out of the store with the dog hidden inside a bag,” Jenkins said.
The man is described as six feet tall and black. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with some type of pattern on it and jeans.
“He is believed to have entered a maroon Toyota Camry with three other black males,” Jenkins said.
An area search failed to turn up the suspect or the dog. |
