 Help with barking! He is 12 years old....
My baby is 12 years old and is use to a normal feeding schedule and goes out regularly with no health issues. Whenever I have people over my house he consistently barks from the time people get to my house until they leave, there is no calming him down. When the evening comes and I sit on the couch to watch TV or a movie,or if I get on the computer or standing in the kitchen... he will sit for 10 - 15 minute time-spans at most, then begins to bark. It isn't because he needs attention or has to go outside, he gets quite a bit of attention and has no issues with going poddy. The only time he stops barking for a long period of time is when I go to bed, sometimes he barks at 8:30 at night because he wants to go to bed! What can I do to get him to sit still and not bark? It is getting to the point that I cannot have people over or there is no peace at night.. Any suggestions are welcome!! |
