Do you Have a BBQ? YOu could BBQ meat and he may come for the smell.
Put something outside with your sent on it.
DO you have another dog? If you get your dog to bark on command in some way he may be enticed to come out.
Is he wearing tags? Micro chipped? Contact your local radiostation and get them to broadcast it. Do you have a community channel on cable that you can post an add on?
Call local trucking companies to keep an eye out for your little guy. If a driver sees him he can stop and pick him up.
Dont drive, If he sees your car and gets excited he may run out in front of you and get hit! Trust me, Its happened.
