I am going to have surgery on my hand on Monday, Jan. 5. Well it will really be 2 surgeries in one. I have a condition called dupuytrens contracture. The dr. will go in a release the contractures in several of my fingers and the palm of my hand. At the same time, he is going to take a tendon out of my wrist and put it in the joint of my thumb to help relieve some of the pain from my arthritis. I will probably just be lurking for the next 6 weeks or so since I will not be able to use my right hand. I would appreciate any prayers you can spare.
