Hey, I'm new to YT. We have a 9 week old new furbaby named Riley. Riley weighs in at a whopping 1 1/2 lbs.
We lost a Yorkie baby girl about 7 years ago to a seizure, so I feel like I'm being way overprotective, but I have a question. It was time for Riley to be wormed, but not for his shots yet, so the vets office said I could come in and pick up his wormer. I gave them his weight and they gave me Panacur and told me to follow the instructions on the bottle which state (1 cc per 10 lbs. of body weight for 3 days) When I asked about this, the lady said to give him the full 1cc even though he's only 1 1/2 lbs. I just wanted to make sure that was OK. Why so much? Just checking. I don't want to take any chances. Thanks for your help.
