They usually gain weight up til 6 months...but from 6 - 8 months..tend to "fill" out some...in their chests.
How quickly they grow is still genetic...some mature more quickly than others. At a year...I'd say Baxter's done growing, mom.
When I see someone who specifically is looking for a 2-3 pounder...I wonder if they realize just how small that is. A six pound dog is NOT big.
