I'm actually a veterinary nurse too... but you're going to get a variety of opinions either way. Excess weight is really at the core of a LOT of the most common health problems we see in dogs, so I'm really sensitive to the fact that most of the dogs out there are overweight, and that the problem very often begins in puppyhood.
