My experience with Usherwood was very unpleasant and he did a horrible job judging at this show. EVERYONE that entered was pissed with him and most were seasoned long time breeders. This was shortly after the YTCA Dq for color was put into the standard. He DQ'd my dog for being to light, but the previous day he took a reserve. He DQ one bitch on color but put up the other one. These two girls were cousins and were exactly the same color. One girl was DQ'd because he said her head wasnt gold enough. She was the correct shaded tan. Best of winners went to a soft coated black dog. I will never show to him again!!
