We went to NF 4 yrs ago and took Toby our schnauzer mix. We stayed at a pet-friendly hotel on the Canadian side, just up the hill from the falls...I think it was a Best Western maybe? I took him on lots of walks...but no not in any restaurants or stores. He actually got out of his collar and got away from me right at the falls!
It terrified me...but surprisingly he did come back to me (which he rarely would do!)
