The vet said to keep her on Denamarin for life and said the Hills i/d food seems to be ok since she's gained weight and doesn't act sick at all. I know it's a terrible food so im going to be researching to figure out a kibble that's a little lower in protein yet higher quality than the hills (I think its 22%). I know Natural Balance Vegetarian is good for MVD dogs, but is that one really a food to leave them on long term?
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I should do to help her?
I'm sooo sad. I was hoping her enzymes would have been normal and the first test was a fluke. I guess not.  |
I'm sorry you didn't get better news.
Those results aren't terribly bad.
NB Veg can be used long term but it may be low in fat and there could be better options.
Did she have gastrointestinal issues also?
