Yorkies are not outside dogs. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to pick at you and I know you didn't ask, but they really should not be left out by themselves all day. A hawk or any other kind of predator could get to them. It happens. Not to mention, anyone could steal them. I would leave them indoors during the day with potty pads so they can potty and not mess up your floors.
