I think this is one of those things where the owner needs to call it because you know your dog and you know how your vet would feel about it.
Ellie gets yeast infections in her ears often and I had Otomax left over. This time I told the vet that I was just going to use it because I was positive of the issue and she said go for it. Then again, these meds do have antibiotics in them and it is always better to get a diagnosis. If she has gotten these all along and you are sure, I'd probably just do it but wouldn't want to recommend that to someone else.
